Time to plug in my old favorite, North by Northwest. Hitchcock at his finest. I do love the scene in the restaurant :) at Mt. Rushmore just before Eva Marie Saint shoots Cary Grant with the blank pistol round. The boy in the background puts his fingers in his ears about 10 seconds before she shoots him.

Watched one of my all time favorites tonight,  Shoot Out at the OK Corral with Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster (1957) Great old movie from a much better day.

I watched a documentary on the tragedy in 2008 with the group that climbed K2 mountain. It is the second highest mountain after Everest but many claim more dangerous.

Remember serials at the movies? Hopa long? My first date ever I took to see "Dr No" for a matinee. !964? I took her for a ice cream after. Her dad was military and was PCOS before our second date.   :(  My movie for tonight was the Duke's last and one of his best, "The Shootist". Yup, Oppie was in it!
