There is a hint of fall in the air here in Wyoming and it appears like this is the last day with a high temperature in the 80s. We will be in the low-mid 70s over the next two weeks down low, so that translates to mid-60s up in the mountains. This is perfect early fall conditions and just in time for the pre-rut.
I'm heading out next week for 12 days of archery hunting. I love being afield this time of year as the aspen trees start to turn, spending some time around the campfire, and chasing elk in the woods.
