New Hammer bullets

I'm sure we've discussed it, but for some reason i'm probably not searching or using to much criteria.

Anyone use these bullets in 240 or 257? Reports on performance, accuracy and game?

I bought some of the factory 257 Bee 92 grain hammer ammunition. It was extremely accurate out of my Arroyo, a 3 shot group was .3 of an inch. I didn’t see any bucks in Minnesota or Colorado so no harvest reports! Unfortunately the whitetail buck my son shot had to be dumped due to CWD, he used a new 240 Weathermark LT with 80 grain hammers. The buck went maybe 30 yards before he died.

Haven’t done a lot of research, but they look a lot like a Barnes bullet. If so they should be good

These are lathe turned match grade bullets that are designed to have incredible terminal performance for hunting.  They are currently our most accurate bullets in the line up!

Adam, thanks for chiming in - hope you guys are staying warm and safe!

Everything i've read sure points that way! I intend to breakdown and try some of these, although that's what I need is another line of bullets to fall in love with! :)

I have used them in the 6.5 rpm. They are very accurate and performance on game has been outstanding.

That darn sure oughta do the trick on a few of them.Try to line 2 or three of them up and see what happens.

I will try to let them line up. Would be fun to see the terminal damage.

Probably a pretty good bullet,   monolithic turned bullets like these can be very accurate one reason is no jacket to get out of balance /out of round per say.   A friend of mine makes Frontier Spartan bullets in South Africa,   very good bullets in some ways I like the Spartans better than Barnes due a little larger open tip hollow points and driving band cuts seems a little farther back on the bullet shank.  all these turned bullets look pretty similar with a few little differences  I suppose.   I don't load enough of them any more to switch.  The good thing is there are options to choose from,  I still have a really good load for  Barnes TTSX in 300 Wby.  For someone looking for something new Hammers are definitely worth a try and see how they shoot.
