Element Turkey 20 Gauge wont pattern

I picked up an Element Turkey edition 20 gauge for turkey and duck hunting. I was excited to use the gun this spring for turkey season until I started patterning the gun. I have tried the factory choke, as well as a Carlson's Longbeard XR, and Carlson's Creamator Extended Range with high brass game loads, #5 Hornady and Kent turkey loads, and Remington Premiere TSS #9. The TSS had the best pattern but no more than 8-10 pellets in the head/ neck at 20 yards. While this would kill a turkey, I really feel there should ne more pellets in the head/neck. At 4o yards there may have been 4-5. When i switched to lead ammunition, pellet count dropped by 50% or more tom the TSS loads. Has anyone else had similar issues?

Welcome to the nation!  If you bought that gun new,I'd contact Weatherby direct about it.

If the shot pattern is centered on the target, it’s not the gun itself. Shot size, chokes and wads determine pattern density

I am sorry to hear about the poor patterning of your Element 20 gauge; that is a bummer with turkey season right a round the corner. My turkey gun is a Weatherby SA-08 in 20 gauge: I added a Carlson Extra Full turkey choke tube and with Federal TSS #7s I have been getting good patterns out to 40 yards.
