I am retiring June of 2025 and sooo looking forward to it. I work for the Federal Government in the Agriculture department here in Ontario Canada and have had enough. As a Canadian, thank you for your service.

Have a long heathy retirement.....you deserve it.

Congratulations Oscar!!! When one door closes another one opens at a hunting resort in the Linpopo area of Africa. So kick off your shoes, light up a stogie, grab a beer or mix drink, and day/night dream about putting your crosshairs on that big Dagga Boy. The key is to have fun in your retirement with less stress, and remember, “Don’t Let the Old Man In”.

Thank you, gents, for your kind words.  Getting bored, I doubt it, my wife has too many projects for me to do.   Plus, the yard will keep me busy, and when all those projects are done.  I've gotten into woodworking to keep my brain occupied.
One thing for sure, I will for sure miss the camaraderie from my friends at work, but I will not miss the BS, the woke BS, and stress.  Grand kids are going to keep me busy, I'm sure they'll coming up to GA to spend time with Abuelo.  LOL
Yes, staying busy is the plan, I also have a group of friends who are retired, and well, I've been retired three days and I've played golf twice already.  LOL!!!!!   Oh, and I'm not letting the old man in, he is not allowed in this house.   ;D ;D

Congratulations Oscar, I’ve been retired 9 years and have enjoyed almost every minute of it! I finally got to shoot prairie dogs with Mike. I hope you get to go on some of the hunts you’ve dreamed about, good luck!

Congrats!  I was also fortunate enough to retire in 2014 at the ripe ole age of 44 after serving as an employee for the State of PA.  Even though I did go back to "work" for 6 years as a fishing charter captain on Lake but fishing turned into the very bad 4 letter called "work".   Enjoy life!!!!  Travel, hunt, fish, do something you live to do than just sitting around the house on the couch.  Toss you watch/clock away along with the calendar as your life now doesn't revolve around neither one of them.

Again Congrats!
