If a 130yds is outside the SS' responsibility, how many yards away are they protecting Biden?

I saw a news article saying the kid was rejected from his high school shooting team because he was such a horrible shot to the point of being dangerous. If that's the case, how did he get within three inches of a perfect kill shot at 130 yards if he couldn't hit the side of a barn? Supposedly, Trump moved his head slightly just as the shot was squeezed off, so the aim may have been dead on. Three inches off on windage at 130 yards is not exactly sniper level shooting, but not all that terrible shooting either by civilian standards - a cross breeze could pull the bullet that much. Or, was he just lucky to get that close... or, was there another shooter hidden somewhere... or, did somebody train him to shoot accurately. Lots of questions with no definitive answers (yet, at least).

Biden cancelled an appearence for today. I'm sure the Secrat Service is looking at their protection policy right now, a day late and a dollar short!

These outside rallies are very dangerous.Hard to protect someone from 360 degrees
Thats why the Pope mobil is now bullet proof. Bullet proof material may be used on podiums indoors and outdoors in the future.
Protection procedures will be reviewed and changed after this shooting.
I agree with you and me. Federal agencies never want to have the finger pointed at them when something goes wrong, but when it happens, most times they get soft landings. Not so this time. (hopefully)🤞

Funny that all the talk of Biden not running has stopped!!! Maybe they plan on finishing what the first shooter (DNC) started!!!

Don't be shocked if this happens again before January 20th (or some "unfortunate accident").
Come and take it.

I worked with a guy named Crooks at the Telco that was from Pa. He might be the shooter's grand dad. The guy I knew was an AH. A buch of people worked there from Pa and WVA that came to the D C area for work. Most were good people.

Do you really think Kimberly Cheatle head of Secret Service will be fired or resign? Biden picked her for the job, so as far as he’s concerned, no harm no foul. No matter how many Republicans ask for her head tomorrow, it probably won’t happen. If her boss Mayorkis didn’t lose his job over the open border debacle she won’t either. She may be called incompetent, inept, unprofessional, ineffective, bungling, blundering, unqualified, and maybe unfit for the job, but she won’t step down. She might even say, “he’s still alive isn’t he,” like when Hilary said about Benghazi, “at this point what difference does it make.” ( they’re all dead ) JMO and I could be wrong.

I just watched an interview where Cheatle says she’s not stepping down as head of Secret Service.

The US Gov system the corrupt directing the incompetent's, if they don't follow and are not incompetent's they will be forced out or quit, tired of trying to do the right thing.

It's the if you can't beat them join them system - sad sad sad, money is power and power is money we server ourselves and now the free loving side just killed and inquired people with a wait a minute "gun" they are trying to control.

Can you imagine the lawsuit coming down from those that were injured and killed? How in the helll was this guy in plain sight and no one did anything about it? This is like the mass shooting at the little school in Uvalde innocent people were killed because we had a kindergarten cop running the show? WTF

Another question came to mind this morning. Since Trump is assigned only a minimal Secret Service detail, I was wondering if snipers have been posted at every Trump rally in the past, or they "just happened to be there" Saturday to take out Crooks (dead men tell no tales) after he was given time to fire a few shots. I had never saw or heard of snipers as part of his security until this (doesn't mean they weren't there). The thing about the cop finding Crooks on the roof and just leaving smells like week-old fish too (following orders?)
Come and take it.

First you hear that the perimeter security of these rallies are passed on to the local police dept. to secure. In example their local police officers and local SWAT teams. Then you hear that Crooks was killed by a Secret Service sniper.Doesn't make any since.

In the videos of the snipers on the roof defending Trump, they have POLICE written across the back of their uniforms.I would like to know if anyone here knows if that would be what a SWAT team sniper, or what a Secret Service sniper would wear while on the job?
