It looks like another hurricane forming in the Atlantc. The forecast path has it heading to Bermuda and well offshore of the U S. I'll still keep an eye on it.  ;D

I was watching it too. Looks like we're all in the clear - until the next one pops up.
Come and take it.

It's a cat one hurricane now, but predicted to be a major before too long. Over 110mph  sustained winds get that major rating. I'm still anticipating another to pop up at any moment.

Don't forget, Ernesto was the first name of that Cuban "hero" Che Guevara. Why they had to pick this name leaves me wondering.

I thought he wasn't even a Cuban. I have it in mind that he was a south American. As far as I'm concerned I don't give a hoot in hell about the storm names as long as "E" is the last one this year.  He was Argentinian after looking it up and was shot dead in Bolivia.  ;D

What's even worse is he was an MD who forgot his Hippocratic Oath.

William E. Butterworth III who wrote under the pseudonym W. E. B. Griffin, wrote a fictionalized account of the U S Army Special Forces foiling Guevara's attempt to bring the joys of communism to the people in Africa in his novel, Special Ops. After he was humiliated and chased out of Africa he decided to bring the joys of communism to the people of South America. It's a good read.
