There is a 40 % chance of rain here. I am under a flood alert for the ongoing downpours.  It's been raining hard all night.  ;D

Been getting some very needed rain since early yesterday.Have at least 2 more days of it coming. It has truly been exactly what we've needed.Locally lakes and tanks are in excellent shape so these slow soaker cells that come thru are just the ticket for the cotton, grass, and soil.

It's down to a drizzle now. The tropics are getting a bit too active again.

Finaly. It’s been raging here non stop all morning. No downpours but a good nonstop light rain.

All that rain  seems to be saving wear and tear on your hurricane shutters. :D

Too busy in the tropics!  I have had to sharpen the mower blade a bunch this summer for all the wet grass cutting! The Dremel tool does a decent job of sharpening.  ;D

Over a two day period we ended up with 1 1/2” of much needed rain. The area lakes and rivers really need it.

Some spotty high rain totals around here.I've had 4.4 inches total since it started Friday.2 different areas about 2 miles away have had 7 inches in the same amount of time.Local creeks are rolling out of their banks.Lake OH Ivie might get to 60% full possibly more.Depends on what it gets from the Concho Valley from the Conco River.Life will be good around here until the first hard freeze.Hope that's at the end of November.

Thanks Tom, yeah we really needed the rain, but it looks like it’ll be a while before the next system or weak front comes through. Glad you got a good down pour also.
