I see where polymere 80 has gone out of business over the numerous lawsuits. I enjoyed the challenge of building thier kits.  :(

I was never fond of Glock so I never got into building the kits.

For a very long time, I never wanted one either (or any plastic framed pistol, for that matter, and thought they were ugly). However, maybe 16 or so years ago I ended up with one and was sold (and ended up buying more). The dang things just work (never a single malfunction in any of mine yet).

I did the same thing,Tex!  Like you said, they just work no matter what. Finding all the needed parts for the kits got more and more difficult. The Glock 17 was my first and by far, the easiest kit to build.  The kit guns all function like factory.  ;D
