Many SA-08 28ga owners have experienced failure of the recoil spring. Weatherby has stopped supplying replacement springs and none are available from the usual suppliers of shotgun parts. I am having some custom springs made and may have some extras for anyone trying to keep their 28ga SA going. Let me know if anyone is interested. Brian
