Hi Friends.
In this opportunity I do want to know your opinions about this riflescope.
I am thinking to buy one like this for my Marlin 25 MN 22 mg.
What do you think about that combination?
A Bushnell Sportview 3.5-10x45 is mounted on that carbine now but as I always say.......american gun in american caliber has to work with an american scope.
Thank you very much.

Juan that scope will suit your Marlin just fine. I have a few of those scopes on different rifles and they have never let me down.

Agreed, Leupold scopes go the distance. I still have an old M8 4X I had mounted on a Savage 99 back in 1968 and other than the blue turned sort of a plum color the scope still works fine. I posted some 3 shot groups a while back and all groups were under 1.1 inches. Not too bad for an antique rifle and scope combo.

Which ever Leupold scope you chose Juan, you will get your moneys worth.

Have a couple of these scopes mounted on some 223, 243 and 300 savage.. Scopes seem to be very nice and lightweight for the price point,   I have no problem using these scopes for certain applications.

I also think you will be fine with that scope. Back in 2013 (I think), I put a Leupold VX-1 on a Vanguard (the scope model the Freedom VX evolved from) and I have been very pleased with it for the price. I had some reservations before buying it - a lot of "scope snobs" would have looked down their noses at me for buying an entry level scope, but it was worth far more then the price I paid and I still use it from time to time with no complaints.
Come and take it.

I have several of the VX Freedom scopes. A bonus with the CDS versions is you can send your ballistics to Leupold and so the elevation dial can be calibrated to that specific rifle. Plus, I like the Creedmoor and Tri-MOA reticles available on the VX Freedom.

I have Leupold VX 3i CDS scopes on several of my rifles, and I also put VX Freedom 3-9x40 CDS scopes on my Rem 541T .22LR and on my .375 RUM.  All of them work great!

I have a Leupold Freedom 3-9x40 on my 240 Wby Mag. The scope itself is fine but I do not like the exposed elevation turret adjustment. There is a tiny little hex-head set screw that is supposed to "lock" it in place, but in the field, I accidentally bumped mine and had to go back and re-sight in the rifle. It's a bad design in my opinion. Just stick with the turret caps and protect the adjustments.

For that reason alone, I probably won't buy another one. I've been using Vortex and Burris mostly of late. Also, for cheap Chinese optics, the re-branded Academy sports exclusive Redfields have help up well in the field for me. I have a few and no complaints, yet.
