I'd like to know more about the gun involved. Did he actually pull the trigger or snag it on his clothes? I think we'll "hear" more of ths person when he or somebody else gets shot from another accidental or intentional discharge.

Either way, he is a total dumbass for having it in his pocket with the trigger uncovered (obviously, no pocket holster). The idiot is very lucky the bullet didn't zip down through his leg. It wouldn't have hit the Femoral Artery (fast bleed out), but he still could have been a bleeding mess of a moron. The funny part really is how afterward, they act like that happens every day. A pair of geniuses.

I saw a woman step through a sliding glass door and cut the femoral on the broken glass. Blood was bouncing off the walls. Several people were standing there watching. I walked through the broken glass figuring to cut my bare feet and pinned her bleeding with pressure against her leg bone with my hand. It stopped the bleeding till EMS got there. Her blood was eveywhere. Her hubby was one of the people watching and bitched about my hand print being in her crotch for weeks as a joke.

 A few years back a couple older brothers were hunting deer. The had a nice buck loaded in the back of the pick up. One brother went to get the tractor to hang it and the other unloaded the spare tire and went to pull the buck out of the truck.
As he was backing up he tripped on the spare and the bucks antler stabbed him in the femoral artery nd he was bled out by the time his brother got back.
This happen about 20 miles east of me.

And boy do they multiply. Idiots like this give the left-wing gun grabbers incidental examples to use for their argument that average people are too dumb to own firearms. I'd put the IQ of that guy at about 50 (100 is average, 75 is slow).
