Would a properly suppressed 30-378 have more, less or equal recoil to the stock rifle with muzzle break?  Does anyone have a suppressor they like on this rifle?

I have a Banish 30 gold, I use it on a 300 backcountry TI that is 7.4 pounds. It reduced the recoil better than the factory brake and now is a pleasure to shoot. Hope this helps.

Generally, the suppressor negates all of the brake effects while adding weight.  Varmint shooting with a heavy 22-250 will probably do better in recoil mitigation with a suppressor.  The 416 Barrett with the brake is pleasant on the shoulder while hard on the ears, eyes with dust signature.  With the 5+ pound suppressor attached it becomes hard on the shoulder & easy on the other stuff.  Bigger cartridges/powder burns benefit more from an effective brake.

I have a hybrid 44M i purchased and have used on my 30-378 i bought as i have a 338-378 on order that will work on it as well. The diminished recoil is IMO similar to the brake without the blast of course. I find it useful, it's incredibly long on an already long setup so if it's a stationary shooting scenario (blind - target shooting) I'm happy with the decision on the bigger rifles like this.

I have an Accumark in 30-378 with a Bannish 30 Gold that I put on 3 years ago. The recoil is significantly less than with the factory brake.
