Anyways I need a load spec for the 2275 bullet
175gr SMK (BTHP) using US869 powder.
GM215m primer

Thank you in advance for any and all replies

After several attempts with lots of combinations of bullets and powders I settled on  Imr 8133 105.5 grains 3.806 coal 180 grain hammer hunters, 3410 fps. Been my go to load in my rifle.

The powder is not in my Sierra manual. You might check with the powder company.

Usually ultra slow powders are used with the heaviest bullets.

Are you saying Sierra actually has data for the 30-378 with the 175 matching bullet?
As I said in my OP Sierra acted like they had no data whatsoever for the 30-378
In lieu of any specific powder and or any specific bullet.
I found that hard to believe given 30-378 wasn't born yesterday and was used by a lot of shooters in long range matches and Sierra at one point was the go to match bullet.
If they have any data for the 30-378 would you kindly mind sharing ?

Thank you

I don't disagree but Hornady lists the US869 powder all the way down to their 165 bullets. Kudos to them BTW as they have a bunch of loads listed for the 30-378

Go with the info from Hornady. There are 5 or 6 other powders in my manual for the 175.

I am not going to use the data for Hornady bullets for the Sierra 175 MK HPBT bullet.

If you simply don't wish to share the Sierra listed loads for the 30-378 and that bullet then just say so.

I am not locked in to that single powder. If Sierra doesn't have that combination that is fine but I called them and the rep there told me they had no loads listed for the 30-378 of any combination with any of their bullets.
I said you have ZERO LOADS for the 30-378 and your bullets...??
No, it's not that popular of a cartridge.

Alrighty then. I don't believe that they have no loads listed especially one using that 175 bullet.

Again, I am not locked in on using powder X. I would like to try the 175 MK's.

So far I have tried
Speer 168 HPBT
Hornady 225, 176
Nosler 180, 165, 168
Next up is the 175 MK's if I can ever find any data for it.

Listed powders are RE22,AA8700,H1000,H870 And N170. Which do you have? Did you check with the powder maker on your OP? I won't type out loads for 5 different powders.  :)
