We're getting closer and closer to being in the clear on hurricanes for 2025 (at least really bad ones). If a storm does pop up in the coming weeks, with water temps starting to drop slightly, intensity will be lower. Got a nice downpour Monday afternoon but we could really use some more rain here and I think, same for a lot of you.

Having gone through hurricanes with gusts into the 160mph range and 17 some inches of rain in less than 24 hours, be careful what you ask for.

I know the feeling. During Hurricane Harvey, we got 20+ inches where I am and some areas to the north got around 40. The flooding was like I've never seen here.

   Now in October, we are 35” below our average rainfall.

Hurricane season goes on till November 30.
