416 WM reduced loads 2400 FPS

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Does anyone have experience loading down the 416WM to Rigby energy levels using 400 grain projectiles. I seem to recall somewhere that accuracy will suffer when you use reduced loads in Weatherby rifles. I'd be grateful for any load ammo that has worked in the past. I'm likely going to use Swift or Barnes bullets
I'm planning a Cape Buffalo hunt and will be using my MkV Euromark in 416. I bought the rifle new off the rack in southgate in 1986, it was moving sale!. Also does anyone know a good bottom metal source for these rifles. I'd like to expand the magazine a bit if possible.

I'd also be grateful for any Safari operator

thank you very much

Handloader magazine #204 (Mar/Apr 200) shows data indicating a load of 112 gr of IMR 7828 behind a 400 gr Hornady SP with a 215 Federal primer with a velocity of 2468.

My Barnes #4 shows a minimum load of 90.5 of H-414 behind a Barnes 400 gr banded solid with a Federal GM 215 primer with a velocity of 2446 fps. COAL is 3.720.

With all the money invested in the rifle , scope and reloading equipment I fail to understand why people don't invest in reloading manuals or subscribe to loaddata.com. It makes life much easier and safer.
