on average with a weatherby brake what are you notace is the reduction in recoil over a non brake

I believe the Accubrake reduces the kick of the 300 mag by 41%

Also, the more a cartridge is over bore capacity,the better the brake works.

Compared to the M 70 Winchester my first .300 Weatherby was chambered in, the Mk V recoil is like a kiss from mama. ;D

Just the stock style difference takes a lot out of it

Plus the MK V is a bit heavier and has a much better recoil pad.
