Back by popular demand, the SVR gives you superior performance in a short barrel varmint rig chambered in the popular .22-250 Rem.

Its funny that people still bring this up. Manufacturing is an interesting world in itself, but just because the Vanguard (not a Mark V btw) rolls off a line at a HOWA plant does not mean that a Vnaguard is a HOWA. Would you ever call a Volvo or Jaguar a Ford? How about a Lexus a Toyota? Or a Rolls Royce a VolksWagon? two products can come out of the same factory and be completely different. I am sure that Weatherby has their own designs and specs, which I am also sure Weatherby does not let HOWA copy.

Back to the original post.  I will beat the war drum and ask why not chamber this rifle in the .224 as well?  I miss that little caliber.  My father has one in a mark V deluxe and I would like to get one also......
