Action Time!!

Finally got the Stolle Panda F-Class action this week. What a piece of art!!

Steel sleeve inside an aluminum housing with a spiral fluted steel bolt. Nice large bolt release and it has a mechanical ejector, so that your cases don't go flying out of the port under spring pressure. When you get the bolt nearly all the way back there is a detent inside the housing that operates the ejector instead of a spring under pressure. 20 MOA scope rail machined on the housing.

Barrels are being run in two weeks at Broughton and should ship by the end of April to be chambered.

This thing cost more than any single firearm I have owned besides one!!

Got the Kelbly's 30mm rings yesterday. Just as nice ;)

Broughton barrels are scheduled to be shipped at the end of the month to Carl Bernosky who will be doing the chambering on both of them. Then it's off to Master Class for the final stock fitting.

NF 12-42x56mm will be topping it off. I'm just trying to finalize my reticle choice..... NP-R1, NP-R2, or NP-2DD ???

We're getting down to crunch time. I'll probably shoot one more match with the Savage before I swap the barrel to a .308 just to plink locally.

Don't remember if I posted this, but here's the stock before any work was started on it. Glass Master Class, F Class stock. It will have a cheek piece riser with thumbwheel adjuster and a 3-way buttplate. Navy blue and silver gel coat, but it's kinda hard to see on these small thumbnail pics.

Everything looks and sounds good Corey. I can't wait to see the finished product and how it shoots.
