SA 08 12 gauge Shot Gun

I recently bought a SA 08 12 gauge with 28" smooth bore barrel.  Can I shoot slugs and what type slugs?  Also, what choke should be used when shooting slugs?

i would say reach in that box if ya have 1 and read your owners manual front to back and if you did not get an owners manual here is a link to 1 that you can read  If you still have questions i am sure they will be answered shortly! I would say on your choke question you would wanta use a cylinder choke and since it's a smooth bore i think a couple searches or even a call to the manufacturer would take all the guessing out of that process? Some times owners manuals like to leave out important information and myself i always call the manufacturer for clarification!

I would also check your serial number per the link below to see if it needs attention! They will know if you have a shotgun that could have been included in this safety recall and if it  has been repaired!
