Congratulations celtic, nice bird. I spent the morning scouting a new-to-me wildlife management area. Saw signs of deer and some turkey droppings, which is a good thing in my book. Seemed like they knew where to be and where not to be. i caught one out of the corner of my eye just before it flew off while walking down a path that skirted the nature preserve. It was over on the nature preserve side so I guess it wouldn't have mattered if I'd seen it sooner. Then on the way home there was 2 just hangin out in the road. So I shot 'em with the only thing I could shoot with:
Ornery little SOBs were teasin me all day. Maybe I'll have better luck next week. Or at least a camera with a little better zoom so's you can see more than a black speck near the guardrail.
