I was pulling up to a coastal patch to do some fence patching so I could put some calves on the place a month or 2 from now.Had the wind blowing straight towards me and I guess these pigs were used to some traffic because there is a house right behind me.As soon as I saw the big sow I killed the engine and coasted right up to the gate going into the field.Sat there with window down for about 20 minutes just to see what would happen. They never knew I was there, but the sow wouldn't come in for some reason. She was leery of my truck and wouldn't get much closer than the water trough, but she didn't spook and run though either.I noticed that they do speak to each other and the piglets mind their mother or they get reprimanded. Can't believe how close the babies got.Yes,I could have ended 8 lives with one shot.Even though I hate pigs I'm not a CHB.
