Spaced invaders

My dog and I discovered a woman living on the enclosed back porch at the house I take care of. We ran her off without much problem with a warning on getting the cops involved on her return. I was there checking to see if the weed spray I  put down on Sunday was working, so she was not there long. We will return in a bit to check inside the house. I was armed but the dog convinced her to go quietly. I had Gaston Glock along.  :)

You have to be careful, those squatters seem to have more rights than the owners of the homes.

BTW, watch out when you spray weed killer, I believe Roundup killed both my dogs Sam & Lucky, they both had cancer.  I used to use that crap a lot, not anymore,

I sprayed between the 2 fences with pure weed and grass killer, not roundup. There is a chain link on our side and stockcade on the neighbor's side with 6" between that I spray. The woman left very easily with a bit of encouragement from Andi. She left a bucket full for me to clean up. She did not get in the house. Florida has a squater removal law in place.  ;D

I can't remember any squatters  in our little area if there were it would be on the police report on the little  local paper, and then   the sheriffs and forest service law enforcement keep a pretty good eye on what's going on,  in town it would be the same thing about the time some one complained they would be all over it,  every now and then I will see a travel trailer out on some ones property it's usually given permission from the property owner or they own it.   it's always good to keep an eye on things out of the ordinary.    that's what's nice about not living in the big city.   These guy's in  the forest service  in my area don't play around if you are in there for more than 14 days in a 30 day period you get a warning ticker in your camp,  my understanding there are some exceptions .  I do see very few people  playing the game where they will move their RV or Trailer to another forest  and return to start their time over.    I get it.

It was my first time dealing with this problem. No car in the driveway may have been an invitation. This person had a distinct fear of dogs. The woman understood my English wich is not too common here. With my dog, there is one magic word that turns her into Godzilla, C-A-T!   ;D

I just got a gsd today. I got him from the pound and the poor dog only weighs 62 pounds and he is so skinny. He's about 5 years old but he's a big ole teddy bear 🧸 I will flatten him up in no time. I named him Zeuss and my other dog is Zoso. Sorry to hijack your thread Kevin. Hope you and Andi are doing well.

Good on you Derrill for saving Zeuss from the pound.  I'm sure Kevin won't mind, but please post a picture of your new family member.

Wife does not want another dog for now.  Kali left a good impression in our hearts, and it has been tough.  We swear we still hear her in the house.
