i see that the twist is 1 in 10.my question is do any of you that reload have problrms with any 100 grain bullets go as far as stabilaty goes in grouping and key ho;ling of said bullets.was told that some 100 grain will not shoot for shit in the 1 and 10.also have seen that weatherby started in 2024 making the 240 in a 1 in 7.5 twist barrel for the vld bullets.

I have several 240's,One Ultra Lite Mark V with 24"barrel and two 26" barreled Japan made Mark V's that shoot the 2 Weatherby 100 grain factory offerings in darn near the same hole.5 shot groupings are well under 1/2 an inch.No matter if you are shooting the Spire Point or the Partition.

Winchester's 243 has been shooting the 100gr bullets out of 1 in 10 twist barrels forever. Whomever says the 100 grain,243 bullet, out of a 1 in 10 twist barrel won't stabilize is full of malarky

The 243 Win is pushing them 2850fps,give or take 50fps,and they do fine. The 240 Magnum sends them down range at 3300fps.If key holing were to show up it would be in the slower 243 Win.

Hello, same issue here with the 105 gr...tumbling each time..no problem with the 80gr...i will try 90 gr to see the weight limit of the twist with my vanguard 2....i am sure that's why they change the twist on the new vanguard..imo
