Looks like they have been eating well on something.

Some of that is their heavier winter coat, but yes, these two were not going hungry. This time of year, they tend to scavenge more, as opposed to catching and killing nearly all their food during the warm months. Doesn't mean your chickens are safe though!  ;D
Come and take it.

I'm hoping to put a dent on the coyote population in my area.  I've seen several on camera, and don't want them around.  Going to try in the spring and see.   ;D

Winter is a good time to call them. They hungry and thinking easy meal.

Snaring them is easy if you can find where they are going thru your fence.Set a snare in a big hole and tie a leader and treble hook to the snare and drop the treble hook straight down about 3 inches from the top of the hole and it will snag in their hair and drag the snare right off the fence and around them.Better have the snare tied down good if you want to ever see the coyote.

Good luck!

Got to boil all your stuff you are putting out except the leader and the treble hook. And don't touch anything without having surgical gloves on.Even when you pull the treble hook with leader on it out of it's package.Should spray your boots with scent killer before doing all this too.Might even get a Bobcat.

I like to make the hole a little bit bigger by cutting the wire and bending it towards entry.Several wires like that is what I'll hang my snare on.That way it gets pulled off of the fence real easy when the treble hook hangs in their hair.
