The Dream Hunt contest looked realy interesting. However, being a Canadian resident, when I went to fill out the contest requirements, it is for residents of the United States only.

I found that to be disappointing. Back in 2005, I was two weeks shy of being posted to Cape Dorset in the Eastern Arctic (where, after being a resident for two years, I would have being eligible to hunt polar bear) when the transfer fell through, and I came to Atlantic Canada instead. My dream hunt would be for me and a colleague from Winnipeg (whom I served with early in my service on the Prairies) to fly to Iqaluit and spend a week or so out on the ice floes, on snowmobile and comatik, trying for polar bear with my .300 Wby Mag Mark V. Any chance of this being changed? My dad always talked of wanting to go to the Arctic to hunt polar bear, but passed away before realizing that dream. Thanks for your time.
