Where is the Best Public Elk Hunting?

Last year I finally went on my first elk hunt near Pagosa Springs with a couple of friends.  My hopes were not too high that we would get anything since we kept seeing other hunters in the area.  On the third day we dropped a nice 6 x 6 in an alpine aspen meadow and spent the next day packing him out.  As much as I liked the area around Pagosa Springs CO, I would like to find a place that is not so crowded.  Anyone got any recommendations?  I live in Dallas, TX so I figure I will have to fly anyway.....  thanks.

Do you want guided or unguided and does it have to be in the US? Since you are talking about flying I am assuming you are talking about a guided hunt.
